Objective
In Hinduism, donating for temple sustentation holds great significance and is considered a highly virtuous act that contributes to spiritual and community welfare in addition to bringing good karma (punya) and blessings.
Hindu scriptures, such as Vishnu Purana, Skanda Purana and Bhagavad Gita emphasize that contributing to temple construction and sustentation not only grants prosperity, removes sins, brings spiritual benefits to the donor and their family but also ensures liberation (moksha) in the afterlife. Vishnu Dharmottara Purana, a celebrated Hindu scripture, states that even small donations yield immense spiritual rewards.
SVK’s mission is to construct a grand centre of worship, culture and community gathering. In order to accomplish this mission, SVK humbly welcomes donations in the form of financial contributions.
